This piece features several different types of beads gifted to me from my uncle. He has traveled to many countries and picked up these beads. The chain is a vintage chain from a necklace my grandmother gave me. The necklace is great because of all the way the beads and chain mix together. It is definitely a statement piece.

These beads were found at Eastern Market and the vendor said they were from Bangladesh. They are beautiful red coral beads. They are just simply put on gold wire to exaggerate their beauty.

On Saturday, March 5, Montgomery Blair High School’s literary arts magazine is holding an arts fair for local professional and teen artists. There will be performances, music, art making and…… there will be a few pieces from Revel being auctioned. Other purchasable art includes photos, pottery, books, art glass, and much more. All the proceeds go the printing of the amazing Silver Quill, so it’s a great cause.

These earrings are made with gold wire and findings and strung with bright red “pomegranate” beads. I’m still working at perfecting the earrings, but shown here are the earrings front and back views. They are very unique and fun. They make a nice statement piece while still being subtle.
